At Ho’omalie Psychiatry, I currently accept self-pay as well as Cigna insurance.
Soon, I will be taking more insurances to serve the community! These include the following:

If you pay by insurance, you may be responsible for a co-pay or fees until you meet your deductible with your insurance company.
If you are a self-pay and pay out of pocket at the time of service, upon request, a superbill/receipt will be provided to you that you may submit to your insurance company on your own behalf. They will reimburse you according to their out-of-network reimbursement policies, which vary widely depending on the company.
Please note: Many PPO plans do provide some reimbursement for mental health care provided by an out-of-network provider, so you may get a substantial portion (50 to 80%) of our fees back from your insurance company, depending on your specific plan.
I recommend you contact your insurance company to inquire about your out-of-network mental health service benefits if insurance reimbursement is an important issue.
